BET Bans Nicki Minaj’s Latest: Stupid Hoe

Nicki Minaj has had quite the year, along with label mate Drake, Young Money has dominated radio waves and the charts across Hip Hop and Pop. So in true 2012 fashion everyone wants to take their act to the next level, but have we had enough of Minaj’s stunts and costumes?

STUPID HOE leaves many to wonder what she was thinking. The video has no clear concept or linear story and really is quite dangerous if anyone has epilepsy or is otherwise prone to seizures. For every one person that likes it two dislike it according to the numbers on VEVO. (143,000 to 302,000)

If anything, BET’s late decision to ban after being out for at least two weeks, just days before the Super Bowl seems to be a great PR move to give Minaj some light, since Madonna and her new single have been getting more press.
